Thursday Apr 14, 2011
Thursday Apr 14, 2011
We’re pleased to announce the eighth episode of our “Life After Trek” podcast, featuring Aron Eisenberg. As you all know, Aron played Nog, the youngest of the Ferengi family, on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Even though he wasn’t a “regular” (Aron corrected us about that during the podcast), Nog was such a presence that he enhanced the entire feel for the series. Being HUGE DS9 fans, we were totally stoked to spend time talking to Aron about his current projects and his life after Trek.
During the podcast he talked about his time on DS9, his videography business, his career/life strategies, and he even filled us in on his inspiration for his role in “It’s Only A Paper Moon” (the episode we, personally, find ourselves returning to over and over again whenever we’re feeling a bit down).
It was a true pleasure to talk with Aron! Man…he’s got it so together that he even inspired us to do a little more planning with our own future (and we mean, beyond which Trek episodes to watch tonight). This is a fantastic talk that we’re sure you’re going to enjoy. Now…hit that download button! What are you waiting for?!?!
Be sure to check out his videography business, Reel Life Pictures, here. Their work is gorgeous!

Friday Feb 11, 2011
We’re pleased to announce the seventh episode of our “Life After Trek” podcast, featuring Tony Todd. If you have a pulse and breathe oxygen, then you're probably familiar with Tony's work. He's been in over 90+ films including Platoon, The Crow, The Rock, The Candyman Series, Final Destination, & Transformers: The Fallen. He's also been in numerous television series including 3 of the 5 Star Trek Series in existence.
Tony is probably best know in the Trek Universe as Worf's brother Kurn who made his first appearance in Star Trek: The Next Generation and then on to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Tony also played an Alpha Hirogen in Star Trek: Voyager. This interview was extremely special to us because of his work in the DS9 episode "The Visitor". Which we consider it to be the best episode of Television...ever.
The interview runs almost 40 mins and is packed full of Tony Todd / Trek awesomeness. We start off discussing Tony's beginning on the New York stages of Broadway all the way through Trek and on to his current roles including his time behind the camera as a writer and director. If this is your first jump in to "Life After Trek", you're in for a fantastic ride. Even if you've listened to all of our episodes, you'll still thoroughly enjoy this. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.
